the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, led by the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology under the guidance of Asst. prof. Chaiya Tanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, together with the personnel and the Faculty of Architecture, collaborated with Hatyai Sidewalk, Vespa Hatyai Trade Association, SMETHAI Province, and the Hat Yai Municipality in the Hatyai Sidewalk event, showcasing art, culture, music, cuisine, and tourism for the year 2567. The event took place at Villa Vanila Hatyai on Phardorn Road, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.
This initiative aimed to promote the art, culture, music, cuisine, and tourism of Songkhla Province, focusing on the economic and cultural hub of Hat Yai District. The goal was to attract both Thai and international tourists to participate in the event, enhancing tourism within the province and contributing to academic activities that support societal development. The event aimed to create value and knowledge for the current society, leading towards the establishment of a learning community.
The activities included Projection Mapping and AR Wall exhibitions by students majoring in Mass Communication Technology. Additionally, there were diverse displays of art, culture, music, and local cuisine from Hat Yai, contributing to the creation of a positive image, confidence, and public relations for the province as a creative tourism destination. The event also sought to expand the province's recognition nationally and internationally, promoting tourism and generating income for the local communities. Furthermore, it provided opportunities for the general public, children, and youth to express themselves through art, culture, music, and cuisine, contributing to the economic development of Songkhla Province.
