On September 1, 2023
the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, in collaboration with the Provincial Election Commission Office of Songkhla Province, organized a project aimed at fostering good citizenship and promoting democracy through a training activity titled "Keynote Speakers for Civic Engagement." The event was inaugurated by Asst. Prof. Piya Prasongchan, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, along with administrators, faculty members, and students who participated in the program. The event took place at the Samila Meeting Room, Office of the President, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.
Regarding the project to cultivate good citizenship and promote democracy through the training activity "Keynote Speakers for Civic Engagement," an action plan was developed to expand the program in educational institutions. Specifically, it targeted students pursuing Certificate of Vocational Education (Cert. Of Voc.Ed.) from educational institutions in Songkhla Province. The participating institution was Songkhla Technical College. The aim was to instill democratic values within educational institutions, raise awareness among students about the importance of the democratic process, and encourage their participation at both the local and national levels, including in elections.
