The research team of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology had the privilege of being guest speakers by the Office of Provincial Education in Songkhla. They delivered a lecture in the project promoting platforms and communities for the implementation and development of continuous curriculum linking basic education with vocational and higher education in the context of Songkhla province. The team was led by Asst. Prof. Songnakorn Kanna, the head of the research project, along with Asst. Prof. Ruthai Prathumthong, Ms. Chareefah Hutyee and Ms. Apichaya Khwankaew. The focus was on the development of a continuous curriculum framework that enables credit transfer and accumulation through a Credit Bank system. Emphasis was also placed on the development of a continuous curriculum aligned with the promotion of workforce skills according to the standards set by the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Education. This effort aimed to expand the collaborative mechanisms among vocational institutions within the territorial area of Songkhla province and affiliated schools under the jurisdiction of the Educational Districts 1, 2, and 3, while developing competency-based curriculum foundations, assessment measures, and the utilization of educational digital platforms to enhance employment and career opportunities for students in the future.
